The poor, dear, injured finger is improving. Purling still requires a great deal of strength and mental fortitude, but it is getting better. I like to think that the knitting is helping the mobility and not hurting it. :)
So I'm about a pattern repeat or two from starting the toes on the Monkeys, and I just have to say this is the easiest pattern to memorize ever! I love it and will definitely be making a non-self striping pair which will better show off the awesome pattern.
Just so this isn't a lame photo-less post, here is a picture of a giant dandelion from my trip to Oberlin. (Okay, so I think it was really a hydrangea without its petals, but whatever.)
